How to install newest version of skype package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS 64-bit

Copy-paste each Terminal command below one by one into the Terminal:

 # Prerequisites:
 # Ubuntu 14.04 LTS 64-bit, pulseaudio
 # Ubuntu partner repository needs to be enabled
 ################################################
 # Run following commands in a Terminal session:
 # add partner repository for skype software package
 sudo touch /etc/apt/sources.list.d/partner.list
 sudo sh -c 'echo "deb http://archive.canonical.com/ubuntu trusty partner" >> /etc/apt/sources.list.d/partner.list'
 sudo sh -c 'echo "deb-src http://archive.canonical.com/ubuntu trusty partner" >> /etc/apt/sources.list.d/partner.list'
 # refresh list of available packages in Ubuntu repositories
 sudo DEBIAN_FRONTEND=noninteractive apt-get update
 # install skype
 sudo DEBIAN_FRONTEND=noninteractive apt-get --yes --force-yes remove skype skype-bin
 sudo DEBIAN_FRONTEND=noninteractive apt-get --yes --force-yes install skype pavucontrol pulseaudio pulseaudio-utils
 sudo DEBIAN_FRONTEND=noninteractive apt-get --yes --force-yes install  gstreamer1.0-pulseaudio gstreamer0.10-pulseaudio
 sudo DEBIAN_FRONTEND=noninteractive apt-get --yes --force-yes -f install
 sudo DEBIAN_FRONTEND=noninteractive apt-get --yes --force-yes install gtk2-engines-murrine:i386 gtk2-engines-pixbuf:i386 sni-qt:i386
 # launch  pavucontrol (pulseaudio volume control utility)
 # make sure input and output device volume is high enough in pavucontrol
 pavucontrol
 # then launch skype and perform a Skype test call
